Accent Buccal Tubes
Accent tubes are stainless steel. They are designed in a teardrop shape with rounded edges so they do not irritate the buccal mucosa. The hook is made not to irritate the gingiva yet not protrude into the field. The tube entrance is funnel-shaped for easier insertion of the rectangular archwire into the slot. They have distal offset and a sandblasted base.
Bonding procedure — the same as for brackets.
Universal for first and second molars of the same quadrant.
